I'm Wil Perez, a DMV based photographer with a passion for capturing unforgettable moments. Whether we've met before or not, I'm thrilled to connect with you. Allow me to introduce my photography brand, ChwilMedia. While I'm based in the DC, MD, VA area, I'm not limited to this region. Even if you're from out of town, we can still work together!
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, I've been in this area since 2016. My journey with photography began in 2013 when I received my first camera. Although I initially found it challenging, I reignited my passion in 2019. In 2020, amidst the COVID era, I decided to turn my hobby into a business, receiving positive feedback and results along the way. This encouraged me to pursue photography more seriously, leading to the establishment of ChWilMedia in 2021.
From that point onwards, my love for photography has only grown. As a second photographer for a wedding, I experienced the thrill of capturing significant moments. My previous professional experiences have honed my quick thinking and decision-making skills, which I believe sets me apart in wedding photography. The ability to adapt and create lasting memories for couples truly excites me.
Now, for some rapid-fire fun facts about me:
-My current favorite color is green.
-Dominican food holds a special place in my heart as my favorite cuisine.
-I've officially joined "team no sleep" since I have a baby now.
-I'm a tropical enthusiast, drawn to the beauty and warmth of tropical destinations.
-When it comes to gear, I proudly use a Sony kit.
-I also shoot maternity sessions and real estate
